This is me before and after arriving at the SPCA for microchipping. You may notice I am content in both pictures. It didn't hurt, and I was walking around wagging my tail immediately after the injection which only took a minute. I am going to get my vaccinations updated later this week before we head back to Carbondale.

DOG SHOW!
I went to the Houston dog show, and as you can see I saw some agility, frisbee, vendors, flyball, and judging of breeds. You can see the shelties here... unfortunately my brothers (Parson Russel Terriers) show at 8AM. That's a bit early for me to be all the way over there. It was a good time, and I got plenty of samples of all kinds of yummy dog foods.

A new way to sunbathe
Why is my leash going out the door? Oh yeah.. because I still love to sunbathe. This is a new way I get to do so while my mom can stay in the a/c. She lets me lay outside the door of our hotel room. You can see me enjoying myself out the window in the second picture. I really like the sun... despite the hot temperatures.
Ants in your Pants... or on your feet!
While I decided to sunbathe the other day, my mom started smacking her foot and told me we had to go inside. Apparently, she was being attacked by a bunch of ants. And we also learned, she must be allergic. A few minutes ater we got inside, she started looking stuff online, but then couldn't even do that. She got really hot, dizzy, and her head and heart started pounding. She had to lay down for several minutes before she was ok. A friend looked stuff up online, and suggested she go to the emergency room according to online advice. She was a couple minutes from doing just that, but luckily she is fine. I guess she will always wear her adidas when going outside from now on. You can see the swollen bites below her little toe and on her big toe.

ROAD TRIP (ARKANSAS)!!
Here is how the Arkansas leg of the trip looked. It started out nicely. We stopped to have a picnic, then later made another stop at a rest area to enjoy the day for a bit with a short walk and just sat out in the sun. But shortly after getting back on I-30, we had a blowout. This threw us behind as we had to wait for a tow to Walmart, then had to get a new tire. All in all, it was not a bad experience though. Luckily it was nice outside, and the trooper, tow truck driver, and wal-mart employees were all quite taken with me. What can I say? Being beautiful has its perks! :)
